Troy Micklitz

Troy is a Texas native who grew up in the South Texas community of Calallen and moved to San Antonio in the mid 80’s during his sophomore year of high school, where he received his diploma from Douglas MacArthur High. Troy went on to complete his Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Business at Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos.

Troy comes from a real estate family, his father first became a licensed agent in the early 80’s and held a real estate broker’s license until his retirement in 2009. His mother was also a licensed agent for several years during the mid 80’s. Troy grew up helping his father manage and maintain the family’s own rental properties.

Troy has been in the multi-family property management industry for 25 years, beginning in property maintenance, working up to management and eventually owning his own property management company Real Estate Stewards Company. Troy has been a licensed Realtor since 1999 and achieved a Real Estate Broker’s License in 2009.

Through Real Estate Stewards Company, Troy has managed up to 160 multi-family units at one time spread over several different locations. Property management is second nature to Troy as he has a working knowledge of how buildings are constructed giving him a keen eye for preventative maintenance issues. Real Estate Stewards Company currently manages single family and multi-family rental units as well as condominium Homeowners Associations.

Real Estate Stewards Company uses Quickbooks™ accounting software for bookkeeping as well as Microsoft Office™ for all other office functions.
